VICE-CHAIRPERSON

Ms. Seema Khan is a writer and prominent advocate of rights of Nepali Muslim women at national and international level. She founded Nepal Muslim Women Welfare Society (NMWWS) in 2006 as the Chairperson. NMWWS is the only national level organization working for uplifting the situation of marginalized Nepali Muslim women. She is an executive member of the World Muslim Community Council UAE(TWMCC ) and founder Chairperson of Interfaith Alliance for Peace, Nepal. Ms. Khan is working as Vice Chairperson of Beyond Beijing committee (BBC) and Interfaith Peace Federation Nepal and think tank member of the ministry of women children and social welfare Working in the social field for 15 years for the rights of minorities and marginalized people. She has been working very closely in the field of interfaith peace and harmony at different communities in Nepal.
